Do I have to update?

No, you certainly don't need to update if your system is working fine, and you don't notice any problems. However, an update always brings correction of known bugs and, sometimes, new features. For more information, see the Release notes.

Where can I find the information about the current firmware version?

You can see the current firmware version installed on the gateway on the Home page of the embedded web server

How to update

All updates are cumulative, which means you always only need to install the latest version from Neopsis website.

• Download the gateway update from the Neopsis homepage
• The archive contains a file update-x.y.z.run. Extract this file from the archive.
• Login on the gateway and open the menu System -> Manage
• Click on the button Update and in the dialog select the extracted run file.
• The gateway will be updated and then reboots. After the reboot check the new version on the gateway Home page
• Do not forget to make a fresh backup after the update!
